Opening Your Space

Smart bi-fold doors offer a choice of opening configurations to suit any application. You can choose to fold the doors internally or externally or place the opening at one end so the sashes all fold one way with one entrance door , or in the middle to give the option of a double door.There are many more options so please ask.

Smart Thermal Breaks

All Smart profiles feature a polyamide thermal break that enhances the thermal performance of the profile and improves the overall U-Value. Profiles feature EPDM high quality gaskets and weather brushes to aid weather resistance. Visofold complies with the requirements of Building Regulations Document L 2010.

Smart Bottom Running

Smart doors are not top hung, providing a robust set up and allowing gravity to play its part in keeping the doors on the track. Nevertheless, the doors must not support a heavy weight on the top frame, so a detailed survey should be carried out to decide whether a steel lintel or similar is required to be installed above the doors.

Track and Gearing

We use only the highest quality stainless steel gearing to ensure that the doors run smoothly and easily for many years to come.

Colours and Finishes

The only standard colour for the Smart door is white. There is, however, a vast choice of colours and we can match any Ral colour and offer dual colour inside and out. The choice of finishes includes matt, gloss and metallic. Please ask us for more details about our colour options.
